This week I promise a short and encouraging word as we reflect on the future that is secured for us in Christ. Revelation 19-21 gives us a glimpse of what’s to come.
It is true that Jesus paid the price for our sin by dying on a cross, by rising from the dead and by living victoriously for us today. But we still live in a broken world where people hurt and relationships are broken. In the midst of that reality, God promises that His story isn’t over yet. A new order of things is coming that does not include death, mourning, crying or pain. (Revelation 21:4)
“Therefore, encourage each other with these words.” 1 Thessalonians 4:18.
See you in church!
