This week we will begin our Lenten sermon series on the seven “I Am” statements of Jesus, starting with “I am the Bread of Life” (John 6:35)
Jesus didn’t say, “I can give you the bread of life,” or “I know where you can find the bread of life,” or even “I have the recipe for the bread of life.” He said, “I AM the bread of life.” He is what we need to satisfy our hunger for meaning, purpose and significance.
