This week we will be digging into Acts 4:13-22.
God was able to work through the disciples even though they were unschooled and ordinary. They had been with Jesus, and that’s what set them apart.
God delighted in using the humble, illiterate fishermen because they were willing and humble. God can use the person who has made mistakes and the person who was once an antagonist of the Gospel. God’s power can show up in the people we used to view as enemies and in the people that we have already written off. God can use you to further the Kingdom, too. It’s not how much you know, it’s who you know. Being with Jesus will set us apart.
Songs we’re singing this week:
“Forever”, “Whom Shall I Fear?”, “Great Is Thy Faithfulness” and “Bless Be the Tie That Binds”
