This Sunday, we will be remembering Jesus, just as He commanded in Luke 22:19, “Do this in remembrance of Me.” In order to make sure we don’t diminish the significance of the Lord’s Supper, Paul tells us to examine ourselves before we participate in Holy Communion. One of the reasons we take our time during communion is to encourage us all to look deeply into our hearts and respond with confession and repentance.
Jesus invites us to come and join Him at the table. Prepare your heart by reading 1 Corinthians 11:17-33 this week!
See you in church!
Songs we’re singing this week:
8:00 a.m. — “I Come With Joy” and “There Is A Fountain”
10:30 a.m. — “This Is Amazing Grace”, “Good, Good Father” and “Nothin'”
