Sunday’s Coming!

Since Ash Wednesday, back on February 14th, we have been building up to Easter morning. We have walked through the 40 days of Lent together. We gathered around the tables and we ate soup; we prayed and listened and felt the tug of the Holy Spirit on our souls. It has been a season of pruning, decrease and darkness — places we don’t necessarily want to go, but places of growth nonetheless.

God never leaves us in the darkness, however! This Sunday we will walk into the Light together! This Sunday we get to celebrate the highest holy day on the Christian calendar! This Sunday we sing “Halleluia! He is risen! He is risen indeed!”

I can’t wait to see what new growth will take place as He gives us new life in the days ahead! See you on Resurrection Day!

Songs we’re singing this week:

7:00 a.m. Sunrise Service — “Christ the Lord Is Risen Today”

10:30 a.m. — “Up From the Grave He Arose”, “In Christ Alone”, “My Redeemer Lives” and “Oh, Happy Day”
