This week we will continue in our fall series, “The Full Armor of God” based on Ephesians 6:10-17.
Part of the believer’s armor is a shield called faith. What is faith? Faith is acting on the truth, which is God’s view of the matter. So, faith is only faith when it’s tied tightly to God’s truth. Another way of saying it is: Faith is acting like God is telling the truth, which, of course, He always is. So we can pick up that shield of faith, step out in those shoes of peace, put on that breastplate of Christ’s righteousness, and hold it all together with the belt of truth. Are you fully dressed?
See you in church!
