This Sunday, Dec. 6th, we will be looking at the uniqueness of the baby born in Bethlehem. The message will be based on Philippians 2:6, “Who being in very nature God…”
Years ago, I remember trying to find the perfect toy for one of our children. I waited with eager anticipation as he opened the gift. My eyes became moist with joy as he pulled the new toy out of the box…only to have him want to play with the box!
God must feel the same way sometimes during Christmas. We so easily become fascinated with the wrappings of Christmas that we miss the true and wonderful gift before us: Jesus!
Come on Sunday and join us as we prepare our hearts for His coming!
Songs we are singing this Sunday:
8:00 a.m. — “Angels From the Realms of Glory” and “Love Came Down At Christmas”
10:30 a.m. — “My Soul Magnifies the Lord”, “The First Noel”, and “Emanuel”
