How good are you at waiting? Most of us don’t like twiddling our thumbs in a season of inactivity. This week we will be looking at Acts 1:12-26. The disciples were told to wait for something — but they didn’t know what, exactly. They had no idea what “receiving the power of the Holy Spirit” meant. So they stuck together and prayed.
At one time or another we will all find ourselves in the waiting room of life. These are important times. How we handle these seasons in the waiting room will often reveal how deep our faith goes. The Psalmist said, “Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him.” Psalm 37:7 Let’s look at positive ways we can wait on the Lord.
See you on Sunday!
