This week we will continue our series in Romans by looking at Romans 15:14-33.
As Paul began to wrap up his letter to the church in Rome, he revealed his strategy for ministry: fully proclaim the gospel where Christ is not known, especially among the Gentiles. Paul answered God’s call on his life and went where God directed him. Yet, he had longings to visit old friends in established churches. What an encouragement it must have been for Paul to see thriving communities of faith impacting the culture around them.
The Word of God cannot be stopped. “The Word of God is like a lion — you don’t have to defend it. All you have to do is let it loose, and the lion will defend itself!” (Charles Spurgeon)
Let’s let the Word of God loose in our lives and in our church and see what happens!
See you in church!
