Celebrating a Greater Deliverance

This week we will be gathering at the Lord’s Table and sharing in communion. Jesus wants us to remember Him by regularly considering His body broken for us and His blood shed for our sins. Early in Jesus’ ministry He said, “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.” (Matthew 5:6)  As we take the bread, let’s pray, “Make me hunger for You.” And as we take the juice, let’s whisper, “Help me to thirst for You.”

My desire is for each of us to experience the filling that comes from actively seeking His righteousness.

See you in church!

Songs we’re singing this week:

8:00 a.m. — “Rejoice, the Lord is King” and “There Is a Fountain Filled with Blood”

10:30 a.m. — “This Is Amazing Grace” and “Amazing Grace, My Chains Are Gone”
