The season of Advent is all about preparation. This week we will look at Luke 1:26-38 and see how being available is the first step toward being prepared.
Central to the Christmas story is the message that no one is excluded. In fact, it was the marginalized in society that played the biggest roles in the coming of the Messiah to earth. An old woman, a teenage girl and some stinky shepherds were chosen to witness the earth-shaking event. This shows us that people who are excluded by culture, high society or even religious circles have a place in God’s family.
The grace of Jesus Christ still covers anyone who believes He is the Savior.
