A Wee Little Man

“Zacchaeus was a wee little man, a wee little man was he…”

If you attended Sunday school or Vacation Bible School as a child, you probably sang that song. Now that we’re adults, we don’t sing that little ditty anymore, but we are expected to follow the wee man’s example.  He climbed a tree to get a glimpse of Jesus — we may need to climb out of bed and get ourselves to church or Bible study! When Jesus spoke to Zacchaeus, he scampered down that tree and got busy straightening out his life.  We should be just as eager to walk in obedience!

The story of Zacchaeus could be your story.  Today could be the day you invite Jesus into your home, your heart, your life.  Take a look at Luke 19:1-10 sometime this week.  Prepare your heart to receive the truth of His Word on Sunday!

See you in church!

Songs we’re singing this week:

8:00 a.m. — “More Love to Thee, O Christ” and “Be Thou My Vision”

10:30 a.m. — “I Will Follow” and “Come to the Water”
