A Terrible, No-Good Day

This week, as we start the summer blended service, we begin a new sermon series! Over the entire summer we will be looking at the Genesis account of Joseph. I hope it is a blessing to you! The series will start with Genesis 37.

We live in a world that is desperate for true heroes. It seems that public officials are more politicians than statesmen and pro athletes are more businessmen than role models. Corruption seems to have seeped into every aspect of life. That’s why the story of Joseph is so worthy of our time. Joseph was a man of integrity and character. He trusted God in the face of temptation and injustice. Joseph gives us a glimpse of a Christ-like figure in the Old Testament.

See you in church!

Songs we’re singing this week:

9:00 a.m. — “I Love the Lord”, “10,000 Reasons”, “Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing”, and “I Am Thine, O Lord”
